Simple Retrieval from Pipelines
A thin polyethylene sheet slid into a
pipeline makes a clean floor-sheet to work on and can simplify
retrieval of an injured entrant. In the event of an emergency simply
slide the sheet out with the entrant on top. The floor sheet can be 10m
long or more.
Order a sheet with a width just less than half the diameter of the
pipeline. The entrant is then unlikely to roll off during retrieval. As
a backup, a lifeline should also be attached to the entrant.
